A Summer Celebration to Remember
Saturday 19th July was a day we’ll never forget! We celebrated five incredible years of the Two Faced Twins Art Gallery with our biggest and most joyful event yet. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it so special!
Watch the video below to get a taste of the fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening.
The gallery was buzzing with energy as over 250 of you came through our doors to celebrate creativity, colour, and connection. From the moment the Mayor of Worthing cut the ribbon to open the exhibition, there was an unmistakable sense of excitement in the air.
We were thrilled to unveil three brand new pieces of artwork that we truly believe are some of our best yet:
🛩 Gliding into Glamour – Capturing the golden age of Shoreham Airport
This piece has been a long time coming! For months, visitors to our gallery have been asking when we’d create an artwork celebrating Shoreham. So, we set out to explore the area, and while we found plenty of worthy contenders, Shoreham Airport quickly became a favourite. With its charming vintage character, it fits beautifully into the Seaside Art Deco theme of our summer event. Plus, it has the perfect finishing touch – a café where you can sit outside and watch the planes come and go! With soaring birds, a gliding plane, and a joyful Art Deco spirit, it celebrates the timeless glamour of the South Coast.

💦 Dive into Deco – Inspired by the sweeping elegance of Saltdean Lido
We first visited Saltdean Lido years ago at the dog swim event (yes, really!) It was chaotic, hilarious, and strangely magical. We instantly fell in love with the Art Deco curves and coastal charm. We’re huge fans of water, swimming, and holidays, and this piece captures all of it. It just shines with happiness!

🎨 De La Warr Dreams – A bold tribute to Bexhill’s iconic Pavilion
Interestingly, our entire extended family lives in Bexhill and Hastings, so some of our happiest childhood memories are of long days at the seaside, playing on the sand and visiting our grandparents’ beach hut. The De La Warr Pavilion has always been a landmark of those memories. An iconic, beautiful part of Bexhill, and we hope our artwork captures even a little of its charm and spirit. With soft curves and a coastal breeze, it’s a dreamlike reflection of summer on the South Coast, where architecture meets atmosphere.

The detail in these works took us weeks (if not months!) to perfect, and seeing your reactions made it all worth it. Steve, glittering in his gold jacket, introduced each piece as we revealed them one by one.
We also introduced something new this year – gift bags for our wonderful art collectors. Those who have supported us by purchasing TFT artwork over the years (or even that night!). These special bags included:
- Sweetie treats
- A hand-signed mini print of a behind the scenes drawing of our gallery in full creative chaos
- A £5 gift voucher
- A bookmark to brighten your summer reading
Throughout the night, a talented videographer (Mikebdesigns – www.mikebdesigns.com) captured the atmosphere and chatted with many of you about your connection to our work. Watching these videos back has been incredibly special and reinforces what an impact our art makes on people, so thank you to each of you who spoke to our videographer on the night. It means so much to us!
We’ll be sharing more of these beautiful video testimonials as Instagram Reels in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out, especially if you spot yourself!
There was live music from a brilliant trumpeter, sparkling wine, and the most addictive pastries we’ve ever had (seriously, we need the recipe). People gathered around our wall of dog portraits, laughing at the characters and choosing their favourites among the twelve unique breeds we’ve created.
It was one of those magical nights where everything aligned – the art, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the people.
What’s Next?
The new artworks are now proudly hanging in our gallery and available to purchase through our website. We’ll be sharing more photos and videos from the night over the coming weeks, so make sure you’re following us on Instagram for all the behind the scenes goodness. In the meantime, we’re diving into our next queue of commissions, and after that, something brand new…
We’re launching a creative membership to help other artists and dreamers bring more creativity into their lives. We can’t wait to share it with you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve been here from day one or just discovered us recently, you’re a vital part of the Two Faced Twins story.
Here’s to the next five years!
With love,
Gemma & Stella
