We decided to create a scene of the Western Bandstand in Brighton because it is such an iconic place in Brighton and holds so many beautiful memories for people. Dancing, proposals, celebrations, weddings… so many incredible celebrations happen in this iconic building. We love the amazing art deco features and as the name suggests, the piece features bright candy floss colours to reflect the playfulness of the seaside and the joy of seaside trips.
We are fascinated by the history of bandstands as central features of communities. The Brighton bandstand was first constructed in 1884 and is Brighton’s last remaining bandstand. We particularly like how something as old as the bandstand is still present and relevant in the everyday life of Brighton, and we aimed to capture this regular context in the piece with elements like the sailing boats and bicycle.
All our artwork can be purchased unframed or framed.

Our artwork is framed in high quality anti-reflective glass (not non-reflective) which reduces light reflections.
The piece of art will be hand signed and numbered by the twins.

IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL TO WORTHING:
We offer standard delivery and we frame in Clarity+ Perspex. It's cut from a high quality acrylic sheet that's both crystal clear, but also safe and filters out over 99% of UV light. The piece of art will be individually numbered and embossed with a signature.
If you would prefer your artwork framed in anti-reflective glass and would like it hand-signed, we can do this but it will come from our local framers so we must warn you that delivery is expensive because we use a private courier to avoid glass breakages.
